Welcome to my Utopian Society. Click on the links on the right to navigate around my site and find out more information about my society and what it’s all about. My society is a little different than others, but it’s a Utopian society all the same…more of an outreach Utopia if you want to call it that. I hope you enjoy the originality in my idea. :)

“The number of homeless people in America is constantly expanding. The National Coalition for the Homeless predicts that 1.35 homeless children are without a home each day in the United States. It is an impressive statistic taking into account the greatness and economic prowess of America. The average age of homeless people is only nine years old. The world as whole needs to try to do something to alleviate the situation for homeless people whether it be through hobbies, professional talents, volunteering at homeless shelters, or donating money to organizations, the homeless population can decrease if we all lend a sincere helping hand.

The main problem is that homeless people are often viewed as drug addicts who were just released from jail due to a robbing the local drug store. One must help to dispel the rumors and stereotypes that are such prominent beliefs regarding homeless people. Each homeless person has a unique personality, and more importantly, a unique story. People need to keep in mind that being homeless can happen to anyone at anytime for thousands of different reasons. Homeless people are still humans. They are not an extension of a wild animal and do not deserve to be treated like one. Treat the homeless in the same manner you would treat your employer, family, or friends. Contrary to popular belief, the homeless people are not numb to harsh words and rude stares. A simple sign of respect will truly go a long way. Give of your time and resources to help others, because if you don’t, then who will?”
